A putter collection unlike any other
Of all the history-making achievements that define PING’s success in putters, none ranks higher than what occurred 35 years ago in 1988, the year PING putters were used to win the Grand Slam of Golf – symbolic of golf’s four major championships. It had never happened before, and it hasn’t happened since for any putter brand. Adding to the incredible feat was it was done with four different PING putter models.
Aptly named the “PING Slam,” we celebrated this remarkable accomplishment by offering 88 PLD Limited versions of the winning models (Pal, Zing2, Anser, Pal2) during the week of the corresponding major championship.
As a fitting conclusion to the achievement, you can now purchase one of 35 sets of the four history-making models at once, including a custom designed table-top display case for your home or office.
Create your own PLD Custom putter
As part of this limited offer, you’ll also receive a PLD Custom putter, precision milled and custom built to your exact specifications. It’s valued at £2,000 and includes a fitting session with one of PING’s Master Putter Fitters in person at the PING Performance Research Centre, Loughborough, UK. You’ll experience a tour-level fitting to determine the best model for your game while adding your own personal touches through alignment lines, custom engraving, paint fills and other custom options to make your putter one of a kind.
